Lady Golf Classics is happy to introduce Verne Perry as our own golf professional and golf consultant. Verne has been a professional in Oregon for over 40 years, and he offers a wealth of golf expertise to our patrons.

Verne has served as golf pro at several well-known courses, including Michelbook (McMinnville), Sunriver, Bear Creek (Medford), and The Cedars (Battleground). He currently teaches golf at Pumpkin Ridge.

Verne has served as president of the Oregon and Pacific Northwest PGA, as well as the vice-president of PGA of America, where he represented nine western states and officiated two Ryder Cup matches and three PGA Championships. He taught in the national PGA education program for 17 years, assisting several aspiring golf professionals to further their educations. He specialized in the golf swing and club fitting.

In 1991, Golf Magazine selected Verne as one of the "Top 50 Teachers in America" — over the next ten years, he was included in every one of their "Top 100 Teachers" list.

Verne has played in two USGA Senior Opens, two National Amateurs, and the National Public Links Championship. He won the Oregon PGA Senior Championship three years in a row. He and his wife Patricia have two children, Adam and Jennifer, and four grandchildren (soon to be five).
